Faced with a shortage of public funding and a deterioration of our water infrastructure, communities across Canada are grappling with the challenge of helping to preserve the environment while maintaining or expanding our water and wastewater system.
This report is the result of NRTEE round table debates and discussions linking stakeholders in the public and private sectors. It identifies areas of major national consensus and divergence and examines alternative modes of financing and delivering water and wastewater services through public-private partnerships.
